- Egypt, CairoThe Children's University’s initiative is a program which introduces students at the age of 9 years to 15 years to the University’s learning activities. Although open to all, the Children’s University aims particularly to reach less fortunate children facing educational and socioeconomic difficulty especially children of Upper Egypt and rural areas.The initiative is sponsored financially and technically by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.

Children and adolescents will put their doubts in a box, after the new workshops will be conducted in order to answer some of the main questions of the children and to conduct visits to the University, will be posted on the program sites, radio programs and when possible to build videos.

We have one activity in Christmas in which we prepare a different day for children who have fewer resources. They are invited to join us at the campus and we have a lot of activities for them, a snack and a Santa Claus giving them presents. We also have a summer course, during four weeks in the summer, in which we receive plenty of participants for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks. These activities are based in sports, psychology, arts and craft, technology and water activities.
