Meet the Library! A MemoriaLink at the University of Vienna
For the first Austrian MemoriaLink of the CU REMEMBER project at the University of Vienna school students of the Gymnasium am Augarten produced video portraits of ten selected persons who were expelled from the university. The videos feature relevant locations and documents as well as excerpts from the video interviews between the students and descendants of the expelled persons. The workshops were prepared and designed by Veronika Schallhart and Thiemo Kronlechner from the Corporate Communications unit of the University of Vienna.
Scientific support and introductions from Nina Knieling and Ulrike Denk (Archive of the University of Vienna) and Herbert Posch (Department of Contemporary History/University of Vienna). Research support from student buddies: Lea-Maria Engelmann, Jakob Gudler and Philipp Depaoli (all University of Vienna).
The videos are in German except the portrait of Katherina Gallia. Subtitles are generated and translated automatically. Due to technical reasons the English version is only visible directly on the YouTube page. Please open the videos by clicking on the YouTube logo to select English as translation or go directly to the CU REMEMBER Playlist of eucu.net.
