If you are interested in the pioneering research of Professor Louise Archer at the Kings College in London we recommend to watch this comprehensive animation. Archer and her team created a profound concept for science engagement. Adopting this perspective could improve your own programmes and give you good arguments for stakeholder involvement too.

And keep in mind: Children's Universities are essential treasure chests for collecting science capital!

The EUCU.NET presidency for the period 2016-2017 was successfully elected at the General Assembly in Istanbul on the 25th April 2016. We had received four nominations for the three president positions and with the majority of present votes and proxy votes, Michael Seifert (Germany), Tricia Jenkins (Croatia) and Karoline Iber (Austria) were re-elected for another function period [more information about the presidents].

In their mission statements, all three of them highlighted the achievements which EUCU.NET had accomplished since its formation as a network of practise already eight years ago. At the same time, they expressed the need for EUCU.NET to adapt to current developments in the science engagement area and to the needs, expectations and contributions of our members. This will ensure that EUCU.NET continues as a prosperous, sustainable and influencial network also during the years to come.

Important topics in this regard were discussed at the EUCU.NET assembly and we will provide you with minutes of the meeting as soon as we can. At the same time, we will invite you to contribute to a discussion about future developments and to make your position heard for decisions to be made in the near future.
